Advocacy
We are constantly advocating for the folk sector in Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland and bringing the scene to the attention of funders, agencies, and the general public. On occasion we run surveys and other research to support the development of the scene and to strengthen advocacy.
Folk Scene Survey 2025
For the first half of 2025 we ran a survey to to get a picture of how people are participating in the folk scene, their experiences and what they would like to see more of. The responses are currently being compiled and the results will be published here in late August/early September.
