Warren Payne has been a regular performer on the Auckland music scene for several decades now and has been making his living from his music for the last 15 years or so. A regular entertainer in the Aged Care sector, he is also well known for running Celtic pub sessions and Folk Festival singalongs, as well as numerous Folk Club appearances, long-time membership of The Maritime Crew, and several Celtic bands playing pubs, weddings etc. Multi-instrumental, and with such a broad experience to draw from, he is enjoyed wherever he appears.
He is now joined by his lovely partner, Fi Sadiq, whom he met in a Rest Home where she is responsible for encouraging residents from many diverse cultures into a cohesive musical and activities programme. Fi provides sweet harmonies and presents an eclectic selection of lovely songs in her own appealing style, as well as bringing percussion, banjo, guitar, autoharp, harmonica and ukelele into the instrumental mix as and when required.
Together, they form a charming, fun-loving duo, that entertain with grace and good humour.
