Africa Day, celebrated on May 25th each year, commemorates the founding of the Organisation of African Unity (now the African Union) in 1963. It’s a day to celebrate African unity, heritage, and the incredible diversity of the continent.

Africa Day Aotearoa brings this celebration to New Zealand, creating a vibrant space where African communities and New Zealanders come together to share in the richness of African culture.
