Anna Fält @ Rocky Bay Folk Club

Nordic folk singer & storyteller Anna Fält performs songs from the Scandinavian and Finno-Urgic traditions as well as her own material in the form of settings of ancient spells, folk songs, yoik, lullabies, stories from the Finnish forests and the Nordic landscapes. As a solo artist, Anna works in Sweden and Finland, the rest of Europe and internationally. She gives courses and workshops, composes music for various performances, takes on assignments as presenter for Sweden’s Radio and researches folk music. This concert will also include a unique opportunity to learn the extraordinary techniques of Nordic folk singing, open to all with a willingness to extend the use of their vocal chords.
