April Club Night with Vai Mai Natana @ Whangateau Folk

Nathan Boston, guitar player extraordinaire of White Chapel Jak fame, has teamed up with rising start Mema to form a new duo called Vai Mai Natana. Originally hailing from Samoa, Mema (Vaimoana Tumema Sesega) has an astounding, truly captivating voice that conveys a beautiful fragility but also soars with angelic power. From early teenage years, her incredible talent in crafting songs that are instantly relatable yet somehow mysterious has lead to a star studded list of the world’s top producers and session musicians swooping her across the USA to write, record and perform.

Together Mema and Nathan deliver an exceptional music experience that you will feel at your very core, as this is where they express from. They focus on acoustic arrangements of Mema’s original works with the odd quirky cover all delivered with the sincerest of love for sharing their craft.
