Beverly & Al Young @ East Coast Folk Club

Beverley and Al Young have been leading figures in New Zealand folk and acoustic music for longer than they like to think about. At the core of their repertoires are Beverley’s British and Irish traditional music and Al’s blues, but between them they cover a wide range of acoustic and roots styles, accompanying themselves on a range of instruments that includes guitar, autoharp, steel guitar and dulcimer. Beverley and Al have each won NZ Folk Album of the Year awards, and have performed together and separately at top festivals in New Zealand and Australia, and at events in England and the United States.
