Bevis England @ East Coast Folk Club

Bevis England has performed a wide variety of music in pubs and restaurants, and at festivals and folk clubs in many countries. When he returned to New Zealand in 1986 he became a regular performer at folk clubs across Auckland. He has also been a guest at most of these clubs, both solo and as a duo with Jan Elliott. Bevis has played at most New Zealand folk festivals, as a soloist, with Bob Large , and in a number of different bands, including Thursday and Gumdiggers Bush Band.

Bevis is known as an innovative guitarist and songwriter but has not performed on the folk scene for some time. In this special one-off appearance he will be presenting a mix of rearranged traditional and contemporary folk songs along with a selection of originals
