David & Shimna are an acoustic guitar and violin duo whose music has been described as “absolutely beautiful… perfectly played… fragile yet powerful.” Their sound blends intricate guitar work, lyrical fiddle, and close vocal harmonies into a powerful yet vulnerable experience for all present.

Duo favourites at the recent Auckland Folk Festival – Adam & Marika bring both charm and exceptional fiddle and guitar skills when they hit the stage together. Performing stunning original compositions plus their own take on scottish and irish trad tunes, the pair have quickly cemented themselves as one of NZ’s premier folk duos. While their backgrounds have strong trad roots, you may just be treated to a touch of gypsy jazz and a song or three as well!
