John, Linda & Steve @ the Barebones Acoustic Folk Club

John, Linda and Steve have blended their considerable talents to create a superb show for the Barebones Acoustic Folk Club.

John Olding, well known in the Auckland blues scene for his vocals, guitar and Weissenborn slide guitar, has been with Bluegrass & Beyond and various combos around Auckland’s acoustic venues.
Linda Whitcombe, a longtime favourite of the local folk scene on fiddle with a deep knowledge of Irish fiddle tunes, and talent to weave melody behind a vast range of music styles. Linda runs the AUCKLAND fOLK MUSICIANS Facebook page which remains a busy focal point for advertising acoustic events.
Steve Gerrish’s musicianship and arrangements on mandolin and guitar are exemplary and a treat for all to hear. In the early 90’s he toured Europe and Britain with Thin Man Music and later was part of Caitlin Smith’s Fondue Set.
We look forward to what they’ll bring to us in this exciting trio!
