Lamentation for our Changing Climate @ Artworks Community Theatre

A traditional Irish music and storytelling exploration of what is being lost to our changing climate, and how we might channel the feelings this evokes to contribute more to what happens next.
Countless slow airs and stories have been created and performed over many centuries to honour the passing of precious people and places, connections and things. Our performance extends this tradition of reverence and care into what is happening all around us in our world today.
And while the predominant flavours of these pieces are beautifully mellow and contemplative, there is enough humour and lively enthusiasm mixed in to ensure an entertaining as well as heart-opening experience for you.
Our intention in creating and bringing this show to Artworks during EcoFest 2026 is to provide a new way for you to feel (not think) more about our changing climate, our changing world.
From there, who knows what is possible next? Something new, perhaps
