Voices of Aroha @ Glenfield Library

This warm and welcoming workshop invites whānau to learn four easy songs from Māori, Fijian, Korean, and Swiss styles. Each song is introduced with a short story, gentle pronunciation support, and light call-and-response.

The group will enjoy:

• Pūkarekare Ana (Aotearoa New Zealand, Māori)
• Isa Lei (Fiji)
• Jindo Arirang (Korea)
• A simple Swiss-style yodel

The workshop is offered across two relaxed sessions. The first session focuses on learning each song together, while the second session provides extra practice and concludes with a small, low-key mini concert for participants. There is no pressure at any point, and you are welcome to attend both sessions or just one.
