The Ministry of Folk is bringing some goodtime feelings to Whangateau in the guise of the indie folk band hoop. hoop have been going strength to strength, having just released a new single, “Wouldn’t Have It Any Other Way” from their forthcoming EP to be released in December. hoop are a five-piece indie folk band from Tāmaki Makaurau, weaving together lush harmonies, emotive instrumentation, and genre-blending songwriting to deliver music that feeds the soul.
