SUMMARY:Penni Feather & WilkieMac @ East Coast Folk Club
DESCRIPTION:With a mix of English\, Scottish and contemporary folk and original songs\, WilkieMac and Penni Feather play separately and together – instrumental variety and harmonies are guaranteed! \nKnown for bringing emotional depth to her performances\, Penni’s songs range from trad folk and acoustic blues\, to her originals in a contemporary folk style. Her recent sets have included a number of folk protest songs that speak to today’s issues. \nWilkieMac craft their arrangements to create a multi-instrumental landscape for their Celtic\, contemporary and original songs. From beautiful melodies to songs with rousing sing-along choruses\, every song chosen by the duo has a story behind it. \nThese two Raglan-based acts will bring their shared life-long passion for folk music together\, for an up-close concert of individual and combined musicianship. \nCasual performers 1st half with featured guest in the 2nd half
