DESCRIPTION:John\, Linda and Steve have blended their considerable talents to create a superb show for the Barebones Acoustic Folk Club. \nJohn Olding\, well known in the Auckland blues scene for his vocals\, guitar and Weissenborn slide guitar\, has been with Bluegrass & Beyond and various combos around Auckland’s acoustic venues.Linda Whitcombe\, a longtime favourite of the local folk scene on fiddle with a deep knowledge of Irish fiddle tunes\, and talent to weave melody behind a vast range of music styles. Linda runs the AUCKLAND fOLK MUSICIANS Facebook page which remains a busy focal point for advertising acoustic events.Steve Gerrish’s musicianship and arrangements on mandolin and guitar are exemplary and a treat for all to hear.
