SUMMARY:Lamentation for our Changing Climate @ Artworks Community Theatre
DESCRIPTION:A traditional Irish music and storytelling exploration of what is being lost to our changing climate\, and how we might channel the feelings this evokes to contribute more to what happens next.\n\nCountless slow airs and stories have been created and performed over many centuries to honour the passing of precious people and places\, connections and things. Our performance extends this tradition of reverence and care into what is happening all around us in our world today.\n\nAnd while the predominant flavours of these pieces are beautifully mellow and contemplative\, there is enough humour and lively enthusiasm mixed in to ensure an entertaining as well as heart-opening experience for you.\n\nOur intention in creating and bringing this show to Artworks during EcoFest 2026 is to provide a new way for you to feel (not think) more about our changing climate\, our changing world.\n\nFrom there\, who knows what is possible next? Something new\, perhaps

SUMMARY:Ministry Of Folk Presents Donnybrook Fair\, Greta O'Leary and Hoop.
DESCRIPTION:Bring your own drinks and snacks\, grab a table\, and settle in for an evening of unforgettable live music. \nDonnybrook Fair deliver a rousing blend of English and Irish folk-punk\, reminiscent of The Pogues. For MOF\, they’ll perform a vibrant mix of original material alongside beloved folk classics — a high-energy fusion of traditional Irish melodies and driving rhythms. Expect songs brimming with tales of love\, rebellion\, and celebration. \nSpook-folk sweetheart Greta O’Leary crafts songs that are both intimate and expansive. Poignant\, haunting\, and occasionally disarmingly absurd\, she bends the folk genre into something uniquely her own. Prepare to be completely enthralled. Be sure to check out her latest album River Dark\, available on streaming platforms. \nMOF hosts hoop. will open the evening with their signature acoustic folk-pop sound\, woven with rich harmonies and touches of fiddle\, banjo\, and flute. Their new album Wrap Me Up in Winter — released in December to excellent reviews — is available now on Spotify.
