DESCRIPTION:Once a year\, we throw open our doors and invite the whole community in. Downstairs\, our museum and archive trace the story of Dalmatian settlement in New Zealand — well worth a browse whether you’re a member\, a descendant\, or simply curious. Upstairs\, there’ll be a kolo workshop at 1pm — a chance for everyone\, young and old\, to try their hand at traditional Croatian dancing — followed by a folklore concert at 2pm. \nThe Society will be serving traditional Dalmatian food for both lunch and dinner\, and their stall will have Croatian delicacies for you to take home. \nEntry is by donation; food and stall items are sold separately.
