DESCRIPTION:Welcome to ScotStringNZ fiddle camp\, a week-long camp (live in or commute) for fiddle and mixed instruments (eg cello\, accordion\, keyboard\, recorder etc) with top instructors brought in from Scotland. Venue is Bella Rakha\, a lovely retreat centre set in native bush in West Auckland. Numbers are deliberately kept small; there are classes for all levels and a varied and entertaining evening programme as well. \nRegistrations are OPEN\, email learnScotsfiddle@gmail.com to register. Early bird registration before end of Feb 2025. \nTeachers for 2025 are Jenna Reid (fiddle player from Shetland\, member of Blazin’ Fiddles\, composer\, recording artist\, children’s author and much more!) and Grant McFarlane (accordionist\, teacher\, international performer of Scots trad music) and one other person to be confirmed.
