DESCRIPTION:Tāmaki Oro Rau are proud to present He Paewhiri Pūoro\, a panel discussion all about taonga pūoro\, our customary Māori instruments. Join members of the Auckland-based taonga pūoro collective as they wānanga what these treasures mean to them\, how they can be utilised\, and what the future could look and sound like. \nA short performance will follow the discussion to bring the taonga to life and allow the public to experience their ancient voices. This event is being held at Corban’s Estate Arts Centre in The Cellar. Koha are accepted and welcomed\, but not required.
